Michael Berti Obituary
Born in Cheshire, MA on April 20, 1927 to the late Mario E. and Nina Lancia Berti. He was educated in Adams schools and was a graduate of Adams Memorial High School.
He married the former Priscilla R. Barthe on April 22, 1950 at Notre Dame Church in Adams. She predeceased him on November 10, 2017.
Mr. Berti was the supervisor of Adams Supermarket for 35 years and then was employed by General Electric for a period of time.
He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire and enjoyed doing cross stitch, and making caned chairs. After retirement, he was the former president of the Senior Center and former janitor for the Town of Cheshire.
Mr. Berti is survived by his daughter, Karen Clark and husband William of Cheshire; and Son, Stephen Berti and wife Lynn of Cheshire. His sister, Antoinette Belini and husband Robert of Cheshire. Seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
Calling hours will precede the service at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of Dery-Cheshire Funeral Home, PO Box 445, Cheshire, MA 01225.

So sorry to hear about Mike's death. I worked for him at the Adams Super Market bagging groceries, the 1st job of many, includes too many to count. He was a great man. My condolences to Karen and the rest of the family. Dr. John Herman
