My belated condolences to the entire Haddad family! I worked my very first job in the kitchen at the Lenox House Restaurant in 1968 - 1969. Mr. Haddad always treated his employees with respect and truly appreciated each one of his entire hard-working staff. His outstanding expertise as Chef was apparent in the delicious high-quality meals offered daily and the many selections offered on the restaurant menu. Approximately 1968 or 1969 one of the restaurant employees (Andy Fosty) brought his camera to work and snapped a picture of Mr. Haddad and Mr. George standing on either side of Actor Sidney Poitier who had stopped in for dinner while visiting in the area. That picture was later published in The Berkshire Eagle just prior to Mother's Day. He was a good, hard-working man. Mr. Haddad RIP.
