Daniel Edward Therrien, 59 of Clarksburg, MA died Wednesday November 19, 2025 at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born in North Adams, MA on November 23, 1965, a son of the late Ernest E. Therrien and Mary Catherine (Segala) Therrien. He attended local schools including McCann Technical High School. Dan was the proprietor of Whitman's PM Cleaning Company. Dan will be remembered for his fierce and loving spirit. He grew up in North Adams surrounded by his siblings and parents where he enjoyed playing football. Dan loved singing and never missed an opportunity to enjoy karaoke. He was a NASCAR fan and spent many weekends with friends and family at Lebanon Valley Speedway. A friend to all, his caring and helpful spirit will be missed by everyone who knew him. Survivors include his son, Christopher Jeffrey (Julie) Therrien of Barre, VT and three daughters, Heather (Bobby) Matteson of CT; Jacklyn (Brian) Kunz of Adams, MA and Allison Lynn Therrien of Pittsfield, MA. He also leaves three grandchildren, Jameson, Mia and Gemma; two sisters, Tammy (Richard) Moon of South Carolina and Barbara Case of Indiana and three brothers, Ernest (Petra) Therrien of Germany, Timothy (Tracie) Therrien of South Carolina and Edward (Connie) Therrien of North Adams, MA; his brother in law, Michael Boulger; former partner and longtime friend, Lisa Harvey and her family; his friend and live-in caregiver, Cathy Fachini and her family; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Lisa; his sister, Debra Boulger and his nephew, Chad Boulger.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Daniel Therrien will be celebrated Saturday December 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 70 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the Church on Saturday morning December 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
