my deepert condolences to the family and friends of michael. i never met mike, but reading about his life here connects with my experience in the peace crops 1968-70 in the philippines. that also changed my life in global learning, and performance as a musician and teacher. his incredible path is an inspiration, giving unconditionally to the world, nature, and its peoples, with an open heart.
i wish i had known him, as he stands for all the good things people can do on our planet in the human family, one with each other.
despite not knowing him, i will keep michael in my thoughts, my music, and my heart.
i honor your life and contributions, which will spread like ripples throughout the world for generations. in spirit and music, royal hartigan.
