Dear family,
We are so sad to hear of this loss. The isolation of the winter months and our family's loss has kept us from being as up to date on Mr. Durkee's status. He was a sweet man and a great neighbor (here and many years ago in west Pittsfield). I always enjoyed talking with him to catch up across the street. He also went out of his way to show concern for our family and to touch base with the kids in passing. We will miss him. Your family is in my prayers for extra comfort.

I worked with Norman for 8 years at Lakewood Mold Co. He was a very nice, mild mannered, easy going man. God bless his soul, rest in peace.

Sue, Steve, and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He and your mom were great friends of my parents for many years. (Shirley and Frank Theising)
I ran into him often at the grocery store, and he always made me smile. The kindest man, he will be missed.
Sincere condolences,

My husband Jack and I met Norm over 20 years ago. We had great times together with Joyce playing cards, taking mystery rides, going to shows and performances and visiting in Florida. He was a kind and gentle man with a sense of humor. He will be sadly missed and I send my deepest sympathy
