Paul Boyd Obituary

Mr. Paul A. Boyd, 36, of Pittsfield, passed away after a brief illness at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on February 17, 1985, the son of Peter M. Boyd and Linda Guadette Boyd, he graduated from Taconic High School.

Paul was currently employed by Berkshire Medical Center, where he was the well-known and loved manager of Valet Services.

Among many things, Paul was a huge sports fan. He especially enjoyed bowling with his father and brothers, a good game of golf, cheering on his favorite teams- Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics and of course listening to Dave Matthew's Band.

Besides his parents, Paul is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Michelle and Brian Bizzi, Mike and Tammy Boyd, Dave Boyd and Chris Mastendino, Pete and Susan Boyd. His nieces and nephews Jordan, Brittany, Brandan, Jacob, Caitlin, Max, Madison, Isaac, Gabrielle, and Mya. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved friends and patients at BMC. He was predeceased by the love of his life Kristin Shaw.

Though Paul will be sorely missed, his memory will live on through all of those who were blessed to have known him.

Sending deepest sympathies. Paul was such a kind, caring and compassionate young man. He was first to help me with valet service. Always pleasant and polite.

I am very saddened to hear of Paul passing away. We worked together briefly at Verizon 411 services. I just saw him last month and we laughed because he saw me and knew my new car by the plate. He kidded about having a weird memory for numbers. He was kind and thoughtful, a really respectful man. I am blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace my friend

I knew Paul as a young boy growing up in our neighborhood. He was always so polite, courteous and shy. I admit he was one of my favorites of the neighborhood kids. He has left us way too young.
