Paul Lusignan Obituary

Paul Joseph Lusignan, 82, of 80 Tamarack Rd, Lee Ma died October 30, 2023 at BMC due to complications from COVID.

Born May 8, 1941 in Pittsfield, MA, son of Edmond and Ida Lusignan. He was a 1960 graduate of Pittsfield High and served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962.

He was employed by Kimberly Clark (later Schweitzer-Mauduit) where he moved up the ranks to supervisor. He retired in 2000 after 38 years.

Mr. Lusignan was an avid photographer and poet and shared his creations with all of his friends and family. He loved to travel and over the years saw most of the 50 states and several countries with his beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia A. Garrity, whom he wed on September 5, 1964.

Mr. Lusignan is survived by his only daughter, Kristina Farina and her husband Michael, two grandchildren, Brittany Bertelli and husband Nicholas and Dawson Farina and two great grandchildren, Madison and Dominick. He leaves behind his twin sister, Diana Sandke and husband Terry of San Jose, CA and brother, Wilfred Lusignan of Pittsfield having just lost his older brother, Edmond Lusignan of Pittsfield on October 11, as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

There will be a service to celebrate the life of Paul Lusignan at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023 at St. Mary's Church in Lee, MA, followed by a reception at Greenock Country Club from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Salvation Army or Hospice Care of the Berkshires. Checks written out to either charity may be mailed in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.

I have a letter from decades ago to my uncle who also served in navy uk navy the letter is from the wife of mr paul luisgnan of boston pittsfield,if anyone can contact their family i would be happy to share the context of the letter i also have many navy pics of my uncle at sea with his shipmates i know paul luisgnan may of been one of them as the letter is from his wife stating they miss their husbands. If u could forward my email address to any family relative of mr Paul Luisgnan i would be more than happy to show them the very old letter his wife sent my aunt in england.

Hi,so sorry to hear about your loss,i have a letter addrressed to my aunty in manchester from what appears to be from paul luignan and his wife after they had visited manchester,my uncle was also in the british navy so may if knew him and been comrades,the letter describes a thanksto my aunt and uncle for showing them round manchester it must be over 60 yrs ago and the nane on it is a mr paul luisgnan from boston. I hope this is the same person as the letter has been a mystery for many yrs to us over here in manchester,if any of hisrelatives would like to get in touch with me feel free to ask for my email through this site and i would be more than willing to share the letter wrote over 60 odd yrs ago with them
