Pauline Merrill

Pauline P. Merrill 1919 - 2012 PITTSFIELD Pauline P. Merrill, 92, passed from this life Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Berkshire Medical Center. Pauline was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Jadwiga (Murawska) Supranowicz. She attended local schools, and was a 1938 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was employed as a clerk with Kirk's Hobby Center, and later worked in sales at Elaine's Specialty Shop until retirement. Pauline was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed helping family and friends with sewing projects. She enjoyed word-search puzzles and cooking shows. Pauline was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Ormand F. Merrill. She will be greatly missed by her son, Frederick F. Merrill, his companion, Betsy Campbell Manning, her beloved niece Martha (Mlynarczyk) White of Syracuse, N.Y. She will also be missed by Grandson, Brian T. Merrill and Great-Granddaughter, Angel Douglas, both of Florida. She is survived by her brother Leon V. Supranowicz and wife Manuela of Pittsfield, sisters Adele Lefebvre and husband Roger of Wildomar, Calif.; Edith Farr of Dover, N.H.; Theresa Morrissey and husband William of Belchertown, Mass.; Louise Fillio of Wilmington, Mass. Pauline was pre-deceased by brothers, John, Victor, Emil, Donald and Stanley Supranowicz, her sister Stephanie Mlynarczyk, and her Granddaughter Regina Merrill. She will also be missed by longtime friend Helen Stutz of Florida, and special friend and companion, her cat Molly.
