Peter Daniel Foote, Sr. 1933-2010 NORTH ADAMS Mr. Peter Daniel Foote, Sr., 77, of 435 Walnut St., North Adams, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born in North Adams on January 18, 1933, son of Edward and Mildred (Hambelton) Foote and was a graduate of Drury High School. With the class of 1951. Peter is a Veteran of the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army and was employed at A & P Supermarket on Ashland Street for over 40 years as the Meat Manager. He also worked for Meals on Wheels. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. He loved his family, sports, particularly football and baseball and enjoyed fixing things. Peter is survived by his wife, the former Dale Cilli, whom he married January 31, 1953 in St Anthony's Church. He also leaves a daughter, Gail Foote and her husband Bradford of Leominster, a son, Robert Foote and his wife, Karen, of Adams, and a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Foote, of Pittsfield. In addition, he leaves a granddaughter, Michaela Foote, and two step-grandsons, Kris and Kyle Magaral, all of Pittsfield. He is predeceased by his son, Peter Daniel Foote, Jr., two grandsons, Peter Foote III, and Thomas Foote, who died in infancy, as well as three brothers, Edward, David and Wesley Foote. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Peter Foote, Sr. will take place Tuesday December 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS. Memorial donations can be made to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
