Peter Soldato Obituary
Peter worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for 15 years. Later, he ran Entertainment Systems where he was a self-employed lighting, TV, and computer technician.
Peter will be remembered for his interest in technology, and looked forward to attending the lighting industry conference in Las Vegas every year. He was an avid collector of McIntosh audio equipment. He also enjoyed his automobiles and kept his car collection in pristine condition. Later in life, he developed a passion for gardening and was very proud of his flower gardens.
Peter leaves behind his cherished mother, Elaine Soldato, sisters Lisa and Nancy Soldato, his aunt Bernice Roy, along with cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Peter L. Soldato, Sr.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Peter's life on Saturday, July 12, from 2:30-3:30 at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St., Chicopee, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Foundation for TJO Animals at https://www.tjofoundation.org.

i knew pete's dad, peter soldato, sr. who was a great friend and marvelous musician, a bassist who played for many occasions and also in a jazz ensemble where i played piano. i know peter jr., must have been a special person, since his dad was one of the nicest, caring, and most honest people i have ever met. my deepest condolences to peter's family and i will keep both father and son in my thoughts, my music, and my heart.
