Priscilla Frances Peck, of Lenox, formerly of Benedict Rd. in Pittsfield, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, just days after celebrating her 86th birthday. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on June 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Francis and Madeline Robinsten Ransehousen, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1953 and later went on to earn her associate's degree from The King's College in 1955. Upon graduation, she worked as the college's switchboard operator for a year before returning to Pittsfield.
After working as a Secretary for the Pittsfield Salvation Army for two years and then as a Secretary for GE for two years, Priscilla devoted herself to raising her children and providing a loving home. After her children had grown, Priscilla dedicated nine years working as a Cashier at the Pittsfield Stop & Shop on Merrill Rd.
Among many things, including being a champion archer in her youth, Priscilla enjoyed gardening, baking, swimming, playing the piano and serving as pianist while being a 60-plus year member of Pittsfield Grange #14. For several years, she was also a member of the Grange candlepin bowling team. Priscilla's faith was of utmost importance to her. She was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church of Lenox (formerly Trinity United Methodist Church in Pittsfield), and sang in the choir and in The Gospel Gang.
Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert G. Peck, whom she married on September 26, 1959. Robert passed away on October 11, 2019. She is survived by her children, Rev.
