Dear Mary Ann, I am saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was one of the sponsors at my baptism in 1986. Soon after that he invited me to become an acolyte and taught me everything I know about flawless liturgy. The love, care, and patience with which he taught us, and with which he carried oyut him many roles at St. Stephen's and in the larger community were a natural expression of who and Whose he was. Know that you are in my heart and prayers.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

As the Acolyte advisor at St. Stephen's, Bob mentored generations of young people (as well as adults) in this unique expression of faith. I feel so privileged that my sons, now 13 and 14, had the opportunity to know him. Bob taught them more than how to carry out their role in an age-old religious rite, he offered them a living example of how to live an honorable, unselfish life. I will miss him and offer my deepest sympathy to his loved ones.

It was my genuine pleasure to know Bob for many years. He was truly a unique man: a true gentlemen, quiet and seemingly always serious on the outside, but a deep, loyal and humorous person on the inside. He was quietly but hugely generous with his gifts and service to others. He is gone too soon and will be greatly missed by so many. My prayers for strength and peace are with you, Mary Ann,the love of his life.

Dear Mary Ann, Bob has always been a huge part of my Christian formation and more as he exemplified patience and fidelity. As I was the first girl acolyte' at St. Stephen's Bob was a mentor then friend. May God bless your heart. Donna Maree

Mary Ann and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob will be missed at St. Stephen's. He was a big part of my kids life when they were attending St. Stephen's. He always made a point to come and say hello to me each and every Sunday. Heaven has gained another angel.
