Shirley LaRoche Obituary
Shirley loved caring for others, and for many years, she worked for Meals on Wheels, delivering food to those in need.
Among many things, Shirley enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, in her younger years, gardening, and growing her own vegetables. While she loved all animals, she held a special place in her heart for her cats and dogs. Shirley was known for the dinners she put on around the holidays for her family and friends.
Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis LaRoche, whom she was married to for more than 20 years. Francis passed away in 1999. She was also predeceased by her great grandson, Andrew Henault, as well as her brother, James Clark.
Shirley is survived by her children, Barbara Bullett (Tracey), Karen Britten (Michael), and Edward Lavigne. She leaves behind her seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Heather, Rebecca, Nicole, Nicholas, Michael and Jeremiah as well as ten great grandchildren, all of whom she adored.
Funeral Notice:
A graveside service for Mrs. Shirley A. LaRoche will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10am at St. Joseph Cemetery. All who would like to attend are welcome to meet at the cemetery office to be led to the grave in procession.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201.

I knew Shirley when we both worked for Elder Services delivering Meals on Wheels. She was a wonderful woman who delivered more than food. I knew that when I would fill in on her route occasionally. The clients loved her kindness and compassion, and I learned that from her.
