Stephen Rada Obituary

Stephen A. Rada, 66, of Great Barrington, MA died on December 5, 2024. He was born in Pottsville, PA in 1958 to Stephen and Phyllis Rada. He grew up in Minersville, PA with his brother Greg and sister Janet and graduated from Bloomsburg University. He married Allison Lind Rada with whom he shared a son Andrew and a daughter Emily. Together his family moved to Great Barrington in 1999 where he worked for Sheffield Plastics for many years.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Phyllis Rada. He is survived by his wife Allison Lind Rada, his son S. Andrew Rada (with Andria DePillo), his daughter Emily Rada (with Matthew Morehouse), his brother Greg Rada (with Carol Rada), his sister Janet Mitchell (with Ed Mitchell) and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held December 13th, 10am, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Great Barrington, MA.

My sincere condolences to the Rada family. Steve was a fraternity brother of mine at Bloomsburg and although I haven´t seen Steve in over 40 years, I still have fond memories of our time together in the fraternity. Rest peacefully brother.
