Wallace Bennett Obituary
LENOX -- Wallace Ellsworth Bennett Jr., 67, of Tyler, Texas, a native of Pittsfield, died Saturday at the University of Texas after a brief illness.
Born on Jan. 19, 1939, son of Wallace and Ida Tucker Bennett, he attended local schools. He lived in Lenox for many years before moving to Tyler.
He enjoyed fishing.
His wife, the former Joanna Johnston, is deceased.
He leaves a son, Samuel; a daughter, Joan; and three sisters, Ida Bennett and Annie Bennett, both of Lenox, and Gertrude Tucker of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Wallace Ellsworth Bennett Jr. died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006. At his request, there will be no calling hours or service. Anyone wishing to donate in hismemory may do so to the Humane Society. He also leaves his neighbor, close friend and caregiver, Dedra Phillips of Tyler, Texas. He was
predeceased by his sister, Joan Bennett of Pittsfield. Arrangements are being made by LLOYD JAMES FUNERAL HOME in Tyler. He enjoyed his dogs.
