In the obituary for Wanda Gale, which ran in yesterday's paper, a daughter, Daisy Gale Krzanik of Orlando, Fla., was omitted. This information was not provided to The Eagle.
ADAMS -- Wanda M. Gale, 92, of 3 Conrad St., died Wednesday, Nov. 1, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Adams on Jan. 30, 1914, daughter of Henry and Mary Mazur Nowak, she attended schools in Adams.
She worked for Aladco Laundry Co., Adams, until her retirement. Prior to that, for many years she worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams until the mill closed.
Mrs. Gale was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.
She leaves a son, William Gale of Cheshire; a daughter, Alice Koscielniak of Ormond Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Jane Stavaski, Monica Biros and Henrietta Skowronski, all of Adams; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- At the request of Mrs. Gale, who died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, there will be no services. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Stanislaus Kostka School, through PACIOREK Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, 10220, which is in charge of arrangements. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. i took care of her for years. she was a lovable person. she never liked the bannana at breakfast. she always gave it away. she will be missed. god bless you all.
