Wendy Baker Obituary

Wendy L. Baker passed away January 16, 2025 at her home in Hinsdale.

Born November 10, 1959 to Fred I. Baker, Jr., and Gertrude Baker, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.

Living in Berkshire County most of her life, Wendy worked at numerous area restaurants, including Timothy's and The Elbow Room. She was also a volunteer for the Hinsdale Fire Department and loved NASCAR.

Wendy leaves her beloved partner, William Poland, and greatly cherished her sons, Jason Shea (Amanda) and Dennis Shea (Kristin). It is with deep sorrow the family also mourns the loss of her son Jason, who passed away on January 17, 2025. She also leaves 3 granddaughters, Rory, Rachel and Braelyn, sister Bonnie Patella, brothers Gary Baker and Dennis Baker and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by sisters Judy Hollingsworth and Virginia Chapman, and brother Fred I Baker III.

At Wendy's request, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made in Wendy's memory to the Hinsdale Fireman Association in care of Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 E. Main St., Dalton, MA 01226
