In Loving Memory of Carol Boerma
Carol Boerma, a cherished resident of Lakeview, Michigan, passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on December 1, 1951, Carol brought warmth, love, and light into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Boerma, who passed away on June 26, 2009. Their enduring love and partnership were a source of inspiration to all who knew them, and their legacy of devotion lives on in the hearts of their family and friends.
She is survived by her loving son, Steve Boerma, and his wife, Tricia, along with grandson, Jacob Boerma and his wife Shion. She is also survived by her devoted daughter, Julie Coon, and grandchildren, Emily Baker, Nicholas Baker, and Tom Coon, along with great grandchildren, Andrew and Adalyn. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00am at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, MI with luncheon provided. Visitation is at 10am.
Though Carol may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved. Her love, laughter, and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May Carol rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband, Thomas, in the embrace of everlasting love.
With love and cherished memories,
Steve and Julie
