James Wurm Obituary

James ""Jim"" Wurm
June 5, 2024
James "Jim" Wurm age 68, of Baldwin, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wurm, Sr; mother, Ida Traver; step father Alvin Traver; brothers, Tom Traver, John Traver, Jim Traver, and Tom Wurm. Jim is survived by his significant other, June Myszak of 20 years; children, Jeremy (Aimee) Deemter, Josh (Amanda) Wurm, and Nicole (Chase) Mead; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Ilene (Ken) Groen, Cindy (Kevin) McNeil, Susan (Bob) Harold, Dave (Mary) Traver, Phil (Laurie) Traver, and many neices, nephews and cousins.
Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved all things outdoors. He enjoyed looking for morels every spring, and you could find him hard at work in his garage, cutting and stacking wood for the fall and winter months, and tending his vegetable garden. He loved spending time fishing with his kids and grandkids at his lake house and always talked about getting out to fish the beds. The absence of his fishing/hunting stories will leave a void in all of us.
Please join us as we come together to honor & celebrate the life of Jim on Saturday, August 10th at VFW Post 5315 on M37 North of Baldwin. The family will have a luncheon & share memories & stories with friends & loved ones as we say goodbye & cherish our time together.
