Richard Graham Obituary

Richard Edward Graham
Matlacha, FL
August 25, 1927 - September 18, 2024
Richard Edward Graham, aged 97, passed away on September 18, 2024, at home in Matlacha, Florida. He was born on August 25, 1927, in Paris, Michigan. Richard lived a full and vibrant life characterized by his dedication to his family and an array of interests.
Richard served honorably in World War II for three years, receiving an honorable discharge when the war concluded. His time in the Navy was marked by a steadfast commitment and resilience, traits that he carried throughout his life.
In his youth, Richard had many adventures on his motorcycle, traveling from Michigan to California and back. He also had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying small planes. In later years, he kept the children and grandchildren amused by tales of these adventures. As he got older, his family enjoyed going fishing with
him as he was an avid fisherman with a boat we could all remember riding in to catch fish.
Above all, Richard cherished his family. He is survived by one sister, Julia Rayburn, his loving wife Sylvia, his children, Debra Pabst, Rick Graham/Claudia, Mark, Graham/Laura, his step children Joe Taylor/Stella, Alan Taylor/Nikki, Bambi Kshimetski/Steve, Michael Taylor/Crystal. He had so many beloved grandchildren, Troy Ringle, Jennifer Ringle, William Pabst III, Chris Graham, Stefan Graham,
Mark Graham, Jr. Lindsey Powell/Steven, Courtney Fretter/Dave, and many step grandchildren who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Graham and Ruth Graham Barr, and his siblings, William, Henry, Charles, and his son- in-law, William Pabst II.
Richard will always be remembered as a devoted family man by all who knew him.
