Richard Wymer Obituary
Richard Lee "Rick" Wymer, age 70, of Remus, formerly of Riverdale, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born March 21, 1950 in Carson City, Michigan the son of Wallace and Lilly (Peterson) Wymer and grew up in the Ithaca area. He married Jenny Spohn on November 21, 2002. Rick retired from the Gratiot County Road Commission as the State Supervisor.
Rick loved hunting, fishing, camping, and vacationing with his family. He loved riding his Harley with his wife Jenny and attending car shows and auctions. He enjoyed visiting the beaches in Ludington and Manistee.
Rick is survived by his wife, Jenny; children, Bryan (Anita) Wymer, Toni (Dave) Lowery; Joni (Joe) Wygocki, Michelle (Randy) Bryde, Scott Wymer, Christina (William) Hartman, Mariah Wymer, Landon Wymer and Logan Wymer; 13 grandchildren; his mother, Lilly Wymer; his siblings, Fred (Polly) Wymer, Carolyn (Tim) Siggers, Susan (George) Haller; lifelong friend and brother-in-law, Chuck (Annette) Spohn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace.
Per Rick's wishes cremation has taken place with services to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale.
