Carolyn Horrell Obituary
Carolyn was born March 22, 1946, in Denton Texas, she grew up in Coahoma, Texas, and became a Registered Nurse. She later created a company that built and managed luxury retirement homes from the ground up.
Carolyn leaves behind a daughter, Meredith L. Horrell (Tom Nims), a grandson, Dylan T. Nims, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents W.A. and Vivian Wilson of Big Spring, Texas, a sister, Jaquelyn Zitterkopf, and her brother, Andy Wilson passed away March 3, 2020.
Carolyn loved rescuing all animals, especially Dachshunds and Chihuahuas. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be sent to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa http://www.arl-iowa.org/donate for the TNR program.
