Danny and I served together in 1-9 Cav and 1-7 Cav at Ft Hood, TX in the mid-1980's. In addition to being my First Sergeant, he was my friend, and I'm sincerely honored to have soldiered with him. I will miss him, and will never forget him. For as much as he was proud of the soldiers under his charge during our time in the Army, he told me over the past few years how immensely proud he was of his children and whom they had become as adults. My condolences to his family. God Bless you, and be with you always.
