Nelda Carter Obituary
She was born in Lamesa, TX on November 3, 1938. Nelda was a longtime resident of Garden City and a member of the 14th and Main Church of Christ. She worked for many years at Nalley-Pickle & Welch and the Big Spring State Hospital. After retirement, she dedicated much of her time caring for her husband, Marion G. Carter.
Nelda is survived by one son Dennie Tidwell of Little Elm; three daughters, Toni Moore (Eddy) of Flower Mound, Nikki Lewis (Darrell) of Baird; Lois Pearl McDaniel (Steve) of Big Spring; four grandsons, Darek Tidwell of Kentucky, Scotty Moore of Flower Mound, Michael Lewis of Cisco and Rikky Moore of Dallas; four granddaughters, Kelli Malone (Tim) of Lewisville, Chelsi Runyan (Landon) of Argyle; Kayme McIntosh (Rusty) of Santo; Mary Ashley McDaniel of North Richland Hills; and ten great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lois Entrekin Parker, father, William Ernest Parker; husband of 45 years, Marion Carter, and brother Frank Parker.
