Patsy Lindsey Obituary

Patsy Ann Tumbleson Perry Lindsey peacefully passed away in Portland, Oregon on the morning of Oct. 8, 2018, at the age of 78.
Pasty was born in Big Spring, Texas on Dec. 3, 1939. She was the eldest daughter of Cecil and Louise Tumbleson. When Patsy was two, the Tumbleson family moved to California where Patsy grew up, got married, had two daughters, Christina and Pamela, and later, married again. Her parents moved back to Big Spring in the 90s. Patsy joined them a few years later with her second husband, Frank Lindsey.
The last many years of Patsy's life in Texas was spent being employed as a receptionist for Partee Drilling. It warmed the hearts of Patsy's family in California and Oregon to know that, while they had been away from her for many years, she was being loved in a way that only Texans can do; demonstrated in an exchange between her daughter and one of Patsy's fellow and favorite co-workers:
Pamela:
"Thank you for being such great friend to her."
Jack:
"To be a great friend you have to have a great friend. Patsy is the greatest anyone could have!"
In July of 2017, Patsy moved to Portland, Oregon to be with her daughters. And, while leaving Big Spring wasn't easy, in Oregon, she got to see the seasons change, mountains covered in snow, and dogwood trees ablaze with colorful blooms – all things that she loved.
Patsy Ann was a curious mind, adventurous, a master gardener, a member of the Red Hat Society, a loyal employee, a good friend and a great mom.??She was a character, she was fun, she was loved and she will be missed.
