Vic Hutchinson Obituary

Vic Hutchinson, 67, of Big Spring, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery.
Vic was born on July 10, 1955, in Pleasanton, Cali., to Golda and Rex Hutchinson. He moved to Big Spring in 1986.
Vic enjoyed studying the Bible. He loved working with wood, he was a master craftsman and a jack of all trades. He loved hunting, fishing, grilling and barbecue. He was famous for his brisket. He helped everyone and had a big a heart.
Vic is survived by: his wife, Millie Hutchinson; 4 sons, Eric, Vic II, Aaron and Caleb; mother, Golda Wellsworth; brother, Sid Hutchinson (Tangie); niece, Mandy Cox; nephew, Adam Hutchinson; several grandchildren; special friends, Glenn Massey and Dave Jones; and 2 brothers-in-law, Wendell Armstrong and David Armstrong.
Vic was preceded in death by: his brother, Richard Hutchinson; father, Rex Hutchinson; and stepfather, Clyde Wellsworth.
