Audrey Dickey Obituary

BOZEMAN - Audrey S. Dickey, 97, of Bozeman, passed away Dec. 12, 2002. She was born Nov. 4, 1905, in Menominee, Mich., to J.H. and Stella Moreau. She attended schools in eastern Montana and graduated from Baker High School.

Audrey married Elmer H. Schneider, Jan. 12, 1928, and later divorced. They were blessed with a daughter, Audelle, in 1929.

She worked 18 years for the J.C. Penney store in Baker. She married Frank Dickey, May 8, 1947. They enjoyed traveling to every state and many countries. Audrey was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her daughter, Audelle (Mick) Estes of Bozeman; two adopted sons, Rayner (Nancy) Dickey of Houston, Texas, and David (Bobbi) Dickey of Reno, Nev.; one sister; Connie (Bill) Browning of Nice, Calif.; and eight grandchildren, Jan (Karen) Foust and Kent (Lynn) Foust of Bozeman, Glenna (Gary) Thon of Sammamish, Wash., Dale Lynn (Bob) Nevin of Cave Creek, Ariz., Dana (Rod) Jimenez of Houston, Mark (Hazel) Dickey of Ipswich, Mass., Robin (Steve) Banks of Mountain View, Calif., and Dan (Donna) Dickey of Reno, Nev. Also 14 great-grandchildren, Tim, Stephie, Kyle, Mike, Brad, Cody, Andy, Tom, Danny, Simon, Liam, Rowan, Ted and Lillian.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be at a later date.
