Benjamin Kaiser, 81, of Billings, passed away on Nov. 7, 2009, at Billings Health and Rehabilitation. Ben was born in Weatherford, Okla. on May 10, 1928, the son of Frank and Mollie (Winter) Kaiser. He married Olga Heine Kaiser on Sept. 21, 1951. They celebrated 58 years together.
At one time, Ben managed Clark's 1st Ave. Market. Wanting to be self-employed, he went into his own business selling gas and groceries for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, campfires and family games.
Ben is survived by his wife Olga of Billings; daughters Sarah Niebeling of Billings and Deborah (Tim) Munson of Pa.; son, Stephen (Linda) Kaiser of Idaho; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Saloma Phillips of Cali. and Esther (Arnold) Jacobson of Wis.; and brothers, Emanuel Kaiser of Miles City, Frank (Hazel) Kaiser, Jr. of Missouri, and Leonard (Charlene) Kaiser of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold Kaiser, Sr. and Edwin Kaiser.
The casket will be open for viewing prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Trinity Baptist Church, 1145 Nutter Blvd. Interment will follow at Mountview Cemetery.
