Bernard Sinclair Obituary

Former Lander, Wyo., resident, Bud Sinclair died suddenly of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, May 18, 2004, at Deaconess Billings Clinic.
There will be a celebration of his life on May 20, at 12:30 p.m., at the American Legion Club, located at 1540 Broadwater Ave., in Billings.
Mr. Sinclair was born in Newport, Maine, on July 3, 1943. He attended schools in Arizona and the Wyoming Police Academy in Douglas, Wyo.
Bud married Lyn Ellen Laybourn on Feb. 7, 1969, in Las Vegas. They moved to Lander, where he was employed by the City of Lander police department for 17 years. At the time of his death, he and his wife were residing in Billings and he was employed by Corcoran Trucking.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed collecting arrowheads and antiques, riding four-wheelers, cooking and old west history. Bud had a wonderful gift of relating to others and enjoyed conversing with all who crossed his path.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Florence Sinclair of Lander; his wife, Lyn; three daughters, Tracy Price and Lisa Knell of California, and Jody Sinclair and Ryan May of Colorado; one son, Richard and Pennie Sinclair of Colorado; two brothers, Randy and Carmen Sinclair and Scott and Deb Sinclair, all of Gillette, Wyo.; one sister, Sylvia and Steve Fidler of Lander; eight grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Tegan, Lane, Brandi, Brody, Kirsten and Sam; three great-grandchildren, Z'Anna, Madori and Josh. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the Alzheimer's Research Association in care of Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Road, Lander, WY 82520.
