Brian Roberts Obituary

Brian Alexander Roberts, age 53, was born December 29, 1970 in Fairfax, Virginia to Jerry Roberts & Debbie Newton (Drake).



In 1979 he moved to Park City, Montana and graduated Valedictorian of the class of 1989. He graduated from MSU Bozeman in 1993 with a degree in Chemistry & was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He joined the Army & was stationed at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. He studied Bio-medical science, Virology at Ft. Hood College and his career as a research scientist began.

He married Louisa Zimmerman-Roberts in 2000 & together they had three children.

He started crafting beer & eventually became the owner/operator of Mad Science Brewing at Thanksgiving Farm in Adamstown, MD., selling on the weekends. He permanently closed the Brewery in December, 2023, to concentrate on his fight with cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Louisa; children, Ayden, Skyler & Percy of Brunswick, MD; his brother, Brad Roberts (Aimee) & their children, Gabe & Abby of Billings, MT; half-sister, Becky Essig (Evan) of Las Vegas, NV; father, Jerry Roberts of Chantilly, VA & mother, Debbie Drake-Newton (Jascon) of Rose City, MI.

There will be a Celebration of His Life on June 19, 2024 & a private family memorial service in the fall. Please consider donating to the Head & Neck Cancer Alliance.
