Bronx William Foss left our lives on March 12, 2010, at Campbell County Memorial Chapel, due to a blood clot in the portal vein.
Bronx William Foss was born on May 25, 2009, to his parents, Nate and Sara Foss, and big sister, Kierra Foss. Grandparents are Don and Vickie Miller, Ginny Foss and Bill Foss. Bronx was born 13 weeks premature and weighed 2 lbs, 6 oz. His life was a struggle when he came into this world, but he surpassed all the odds. Bronx spent three weeks of his life in Rapid City, S.D., seven and a half months in Denver, and one month in Omaha, Neb. Bronx underwent four emergency surgeries and two planned surgeries. Bronx always did the opposite of what the doctors wanted him to do; even when he was sick, he always made sure to give you that smile and grin stating that "I'm not following what you want me to, but everything is going to be OK." Bronx never had the perfect timing for anything, he was on his own schedule, and always liked to keep Mommy and Daddy on their toes. We were blessed with the news allowing Bronx to finally come home after nine long months. Bronx loved to watch ESPN with his daddy and loved all kind of sports. He loved his big sister, Kierra; she always made him laugh and she did a good job of sharing her toys. Bronx touched a lot of people's lives in so many ways from his real family in Gillette to his families that he gained in Rapid City, Denver and Omaha. He will truly be missed in so many ways. He lived a happy life and always had a smile on his face. Our prayers were answered when Bronx came home, and we were saddened when he was taken from us. Bronx will always be in our hearts and we will never forget his smile that assured all of us that everything was going to be OK.
