Corey Wombolt Obituary

Corey Wombolt, 54, passed peacefully from this earth to be embraced by his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2013, due to cancer. He was born in Billings on April 10, 1959, to Robert and Sharon (Haines) Wombolt.

Corey grew up in Billings and began a very promising career as an airbrush artist. After a car accident when he was 18, Corey moved to Harlowton where he resided until the time of his death.

Corey was blessed with a son, Geoffrey, whom he adored and gave his life meaning and joy.

He loved to fish and hunt and made beautiful scroll saw pieces that he enjoyed sharing with friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Geoffrey (Livingston); father, Robert (Billings); three brothers, Scott and his wife Laurie, Todd and his partner Osmar (Billings), Joel and his wife Kim (Great Falls); four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.

We invite all friends and family to a celebration of Corey's life on Wednesday, June 5, at Faith Chapel in Harlowton at 2 p.m. Please come and share his life, laughter and love. Condolences may be sent in care of Bob Herman, 7830 Spear Drive, Shepherd, MT 59079.
