Dolores Freeck passed away on Oct. 15, 2015, at RiverStone Hospice in Billings at the age of 86.
She was born on March 29, 1929, in Roundup to Agosto and Winefred Leonardi. During her early childhood she was raised in Rosebud, Forsyth and Custer. She graduated from Custer High School in 1946. After graduation she went to Billings Business School and started working at Midland Bank in Billings.
On Sept. 29, 1951, she married her husband Ervin W. Freeck and together they started their home and family in Billings. Together they worked and built several homes and traveled across the country and made several trips to Europe on vacations. During this time she also worked as a manager at the Ponderosa Inn in Billings and Great Falls. She also spent countless hours volunteering at St. Vincent's as a Gray Lady to begin with and later as a volunteer with the volunteer group in the gift shop at the hospital.
Dolores and Ervin were married for 58 years until his passing in 2009. After the passing of Ervin, she continued to volunteer and spend time with her family and many friends at various activities.
Dolores is survived by her son, Randy (Laurie) Freeck of Billings; grandchildren Kendra Freeck and Matthew Freeck of Billings; nephews Richard Leonardi, Jr. and Jerry Leonardi of Tyler, Texas; sisters-in-laws, Rosie Freeck of Billings and Liddy Pinsch of Medford, Wis.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, husband Ervin W. Freeck and brother Richard Leonardi.
As per her wishes, there will not be any memorial services. If you wish to honor her, you can make memorials in her name to one of the following organizations: Volunteer Services Care of SVH Foundation, 1106 N. 30th St. Billings, MT 59101 or RiverStone Hospice, 123 S. 27th St., Billings, MT 59101.
