At the age of 83, Donald F. Josephson died peacefully at his home early Thursday morning, Oct. 22, 2009. Don was born in Wing, N.D., the son of Charles and Winnie Josephson on July 10, 1926.
On June 9, 1948, Don was united in marriage to Norma Lane in Bismarck. In 1953, they moved to Billings, where they raised six children.
A loyal Yankee fan, Don enjoyed watching baseball. He loved his children and grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death as well as his wife, Norma, and eight brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his children, Dan (Dian) Josephson, Connie (John) Heidema, Nancy (Hank) Josephson, Tom Josephson, Kim (Don) Lohrenz, Carol Josephson; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will held at Rockvale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his grandson, Kyle Lohrenz Benefit Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com.
