Gail Becker Obituary

Gail Joy Becker

November 21, 1950 - May 11, 2025

Gail Joy Sutton (McCloy) Becker (Bergstrom), 74, ascended to her heaven on May 11, 2025. She was born November 21, 1950 in Glendive, MT to Lloyd and Betty (Pierce) Sutton. She spent the better part of her life raising her girls and working in Billings, MT. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Ben Becker, her beloved brother, Kim Sutton, and her nephew Chase Parker. She is survived by her siblings, Nadine (and Russel) Parker and Wesley (and Darlene) Sutton; her nephews, Travis Sutton, Newlan and Calden Parker and Cody and Levi Sutton, and all of their beautiful families. She also leaves behind her daughters, Deborah J (Mccloy) Dyba and Andrea N McCloy (Cosgrove); her grandson, Jacob P (and Katrina) Vincelette; granddaughters, Carli J (and David) McGee and Selig R Cosgrove; and great-grandson, Silas I Vincelette.

Gail lived an admirable life of free will yet worked hard to provide for her girls. She went to work for Sears in Billings in 1977 selling electronics and furniture and then opened its original custom drapery department. She further excelled in the custom retail world at the Carpet Connection; then she really kicked ass in her career at Hart's Furniture before leaving Billings in 2005 to move south for the warm sun she so loved.

Gail bestowed upon her daughters and grandkids a legacy of emotional strength, fierce independence and the infinite nature of love. She loved to sing and dance to country and classic rock music and was the life of many parties. She always had an open-door policy and she taught us lessons on the importance of knowledge, culture, and travel, and about the crucial bond between parents and their children.

Gail spent the last year's of her life being as close to her daughters as possible. Her granddaughters were very special to her and talking about them put a sparkle in her eyes. It was the deep connection with her grandson Jake, however, that kept- and will always keep- the flame lit in her soul.

Thank you for everything, Mom.

" We love you, Grandma Gail!"

I worked with Gail at the Carpet One store for many years. She was so much fun and a great co-worker and friend. The trip with the girls to Chico will forever be remembered! May God bless you and those left behind!
