Ida Ehret Obituary
She was born on May 20, 1932, to William and Swannie Vanderwyk. She grew up on the Huntley Project. On May 27, 1950, she married Howard Wesley Ehret. In 1961, they moved to the Gallatin Valley. Ida worked at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for 16 years. She cooked at the Bungalow Drug in downtown Bozeman and was also a cook at the Chi Omega Sorority. She retired in 1997. She was a member of the Belgrade Rebecca Lodge, The Senior Companions and Green Thumbs.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her four brothers.
She is survived by her six children, Skip Ehret of Livingston, Ken (Cheryl) Ehret of Belgrade, Terry (Ken) Burgess of Medford, Ore., Russ (Sue) Ehret of Belgrade, Dwight Ehret of Belgrade and Debbie (Rich) Robiscoe of Bozeman; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at Cremation or Funeral Gallery in Belgrade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Society, 550 N. 31st St., Suite 103, Billings, MT 59101, in Ida's name.
