James Morrison Obituary

PHOENIX - After a brief illness and surgery, Jim passed away March 6, 2012.

He was born in Billings, Aug. 25, 1955. Jim lived with his family in Hardin and spent his grade school years there. Later he moved with his family to Billings where he graduated from Billings Senior High school where he was active in the band and on the swim team. He spent three years enrolled at Eastern Montana College. His love for music provided the opportunity for him to work for Budget Tapes and Records. When Budget Tapes opened a store in Great Falls, Jim became the manager. Jim was in retail sales working in the mattress and furniture industry. After his move to Arizona he was store manager for wholesale mattress company.

He loved spending time with friends and family and especially loved snowmobiling in Yellowstone Park. He joined his family on many trips to California where he always enjoyed the ocean while walking the beach.

He had a big heart and his friendly, outgoing way made it easy for him to have lots of friends, and while in Arizona he established close friendships with people from all walks of life.

His family loved him and we will miss him every day.

He is survived by his parents, Bunny and Roy, sister Margaret Tryon, brother Lee Morrison, niece Tiffany Tryon, and nephew Joey Morrison.

Memorial services will be held in Phoenix on March 12, 2012.
