Janet Mullaney Obituary
April 7, 1946 - April 30, 2025
Janet (Wilcox) Mullaney went to her heavenly home on the evening of April 30, 2025, while under care at Saint John's Jensen Cottage. She had a deep faith in God, and found comfort in his eternal promises.
Janet was born on April 7, 1946, and grew up on the family farm near Molt, Mont. She graduated from Rapelje High School, and Montana State University with a business education degree. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Les Wilcox, in 1966 and they completed their family with their daughters, Joan and Julie. Janet was tragically widowed in 1987 when Les was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.
Janet taught at the high school and college level, and she was deeply fulfilled by her years teaching at the College of Technology. She also loved her church family at Good Shepherd.
Janet married Pat Mullaney in 1993, and they enjoyed being grandparents to Joan and Julie's children. Pat lovingly lived out his wedding vows well as he selflessly cared for Janet in her last few years, allowing her to remain at home until two weeks before her passing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Billings, with a reception to follow. To share condolences, please visit dahlfuneralchapel.com.

I worked with Janet at the College of Technology until she retired.
Janet was always so professional in her teaching career, had a kind heart and soul. I always enjoyed seeing her and Pat out and about in the years after she left the college.
