Joyce Propp Obituary

Joyce Elaine Propp

April 27, 1930 - April 17, 2025

Our Mom was born April 27, 1930 to Lee and Mildred Swanson in Sidney, Mont. After finishing high school, she married our Dad Bill Propp and moved to Billings where they raised five children: Julee, Jeff, Maurice, Melinda and Tom.

In 1978 they moved to Helena, Mont. where Dad was the Exxon terminal supervisor. Upon his retirement in 1986 they returned to Billings where they lived their remaining lives. Dad passed away in 2010. Mom remained in their home where she loved gardening in her beautiful yard.

Mom loved company and visiting with her children and grandchildren. Mom was very active in her church (Mount Olive Lutheran) and loved her quilting circle.

Last year, she moved to Shelton, Wash. where her daughter Julee provided loving in-home care until she passed away on April 17. Mom was much loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
