PARK CITY - Marlene Lowman passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, at the Billings Clinic.
She was born Dec. 17, 1936, to Paul and Martha Taylor in Billings. She grew up in Billings and moved to Bridger the summer of 1954.
She met and married Bob Lowman in 1955. They started their married life in Bridger and moved to Billings soon after. In 1969, they purchased their home in Park City and raised their family. She worked for the Park City School and Park City Water Co.
She and Bob purchased and ran the Lazy RL Motel until they retired.
She is survived by husband Bob; children Sheri, Gary (Tammy), Mark (Karla); five grandchildren, Josh, Brooke, Tarin, Callie, and Taylor Jo; three great-grandchildren, Garrett, Kaide, and Jett; and two step-granddaughters, Misty and Amber; sister, Donna Miles (Tom) of Clarkston, Wash., brother Robert Taylor of Malta; in-laws, Archie Lowman (Caldwell, Idaho), Albert Lowman (Caldwell, Idaho), Brad and Pat Wood (Vista, Calif.), Jeannette and Evelyn Lowman (Billings), Arnold Lowman (Boyd); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Cheryl; sisters, Ruth Miles, Nadine Johnson, and Julie DePue.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral is planned tor Thursday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at Smith's Funeral Chapel, 315 East 3rd Street, Laurel, MT.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special K Ranch at 34 Special K Lane, Columbus, MT 59019.
