Michael J. Zuck
BILLINGS - Michael J. Zuck passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21st surrounded by loved ones and his faithful dog, Blue. He is preceded in death by his father, John Zuck; mother, Donna Lloyd; his stepmother, Lollie Zuck; and his sister, JoLynn Fritzler.
Known as "Fudd" by all, Mike met his wife and soulmate, Patti Hodge, in art class at Billings West High School. Mike teased Patti persistently to enjoy her sweet smile and blushing cheeks. They married in 1977 to the fanfare of friends and Mike's large, boisterous family.
Mike was an avid fan of anything that had a score and supported the UM Grizzlies and Minnesota Vikings with fervor. He was a lifelong outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and most recently took to camping around Red Lodge with Patti. Mike's greatest joy and source and pride was he and Patti's three sons and ten grandchildren.
He had a quick wit and a mischievous nature. He loved to make people laugh, tease a little and "stir the pot". Mike always had a new joke or story to share. Everyone knew that beneath his occasional gruff exterior there was a heart of gold.
Mike is survived by Patti, his wife of 47 years; his sons Dan (Amee), Tom (Ginny),and Brent (Katie); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Riley, Tanner, Taylor, Tyleigh, Hailey, Luke, Clayne, Braylee, and Rylee; his siblings, Bob (Pam), John, Kass (Brian), Tim (Tiffany), Lissa (Kevin), T.K. (Jody) and Kathy (Todd); and numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.
Per Mike's wishes, no formal service is planned. The family will have an informal gathering to celebrate his life at a later date.
Thank you for all the fun and laughter, Fudd. We will miss you dearly.
