Richard "Rick" Evan Miller, age 69, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings.
Rick was born on April 16, 1941, in Hartington, Neb., to parents Ronald and Gladys (Israelson) Miller. The Miller family moved to Port Angeles, Wash., where Rick attended High School, graduating in 1959 and was married to Loretta Gagnon in 1961. They divorced in 1993.
Rick worked for the Seattle Public School District for many years as an electrician and retired in 2005. He moved to Laurel in 2006. Rick enjoyed model railroading, playing pool with his friends, classic rock and roll and attending his grandchildren's activities.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his brother, Craig Miller of Port Angeles, Wash.; daughters Andrea (BJ) Black of San Jose, Calif., and Renee (Doug) Studiner; grandchildren Ethan, Blake, Lauren and Claire Studiner of Laurel; and many friends.
Memorial service for family and friends to be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at St. Anthony's Church in Laurel.
