WIBAUX - Sienna Elizabeth Rogers, age 16 months, of Wibaux, lost her battle with leukemia on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings. She passed away in the arms of her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wibaux, Pastor Roger Dieterle officiating and Pastor J.T. Burk as assisting minister. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Wibaux Cemetery. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Wibaux is entrusted with arrangements.
Sienna was born Feb. 13, 2009, in Glendive, the daughter of Travis and Julie (Franz) Rogers. She spent most of her life at the Denver Children's Hospital. Sienna was a bright and happy child and always had a smile on her face. She was a favorite patient of all the nurses. Sienna loved to play with the nurses' badges, and she was given a badge of her own. Sienna will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends and the health care workers who cared for her.
Sienna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chuck Rogers, Cheryl Nelson, and Gene Dillashaw; her great-grandfather, Edward Frisinger; and her great-great-grandfather, Marvin Barrett.
Sienna is survived by her parents, Travis and Julie Rogers of Wibaux; her grandparents, Julie Rogers and David and Liz Franz, all of Wibaux; her great-grandparents, Ray and Ann Franz of Sidney, Dillashaw of Carthage, Texas, and Petey Frisinger of Wibaux; her great-great-grandmother, Faith Barrett of Laramie, Wyo.; her aunts, Shana, Melissa and Laura Franz, all of Wibaux; her uncle, James Franz of Wibaux; and numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.
