Stetson and I were inseparable in middle school. I was drawn into his kindness, his smile, and his goofiness. We spent many days for 2 years hanging out together.
As we grew older into high school and college, our friendship, while still strong, took a back seat to the myriad things that life throws at you. I was ecstatic to hear all these years later Stetson had moved to Missoula. We had been reconnecting since he's been here and it was so awesome to have this guy back in my life. It was like middle school again, and nothing had skipped a beat - except we had facial hair now and a few extra lbs!
Stets, I love you buddy, you will be so missed here on earth but I pray that your family and friends rest easy knowing you are in Paradise with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again brother, much love!

I was so sorry to hear about Stetson, and I can´t stop thinking about and praying for you all. I remember, specifically, how close Sydney and Stetson were and Sydney always talking so admiringly and affectionately about him. I also remember Stetson´s smile and how he seemed kind to everyone, even those much younger than him. My heart breaks with and for you all.

Oh Shad. My heart hurts so for you. The pain of the loss of a child is unimaginable. You are such a dear, dear person and I am so sorry that you must bear this pain.

Stetson was a ring bearer in our wedding when he was just a little boy. I will always remember him as the boy with a million dollar smile and a kind soul. He was taken away from all of us way too soon and will be missed by so many. Our heart goes out to his sister, Sydney, and his parents. Stetson was such a wonderful and talented young man.
