GREYBULL, Wyo. ? Greybul1 resident, Tairyn Elise Stearns, age 15, died early Sunday morning, Aug. 7, 2005, due to a tragic motor vehicle accident just north of Greybu11.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Greybull High School Auditorium with the Rev. Michael McMillan officiating.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" immediately following the services at the Elk's Lodge in Greybull.
Tairyn was born on Nov. 1, 1989, in Cody to Ann Marie Stearns. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter and friend who will be greatly missed.
Tairyn was a free spirit who loved life and cherished her friends and family. She had a great love for travel and experienced many adventures in her short life. She loved music, spending time with friends and enjoyed baking cookies of any kind to share with everyone.
Tairyn was a beautiful person with a big heart and was able to see the good in everyone she met. She had many friends and touched many lives. She had just finished the ninth grade at Greybull High School in May 2005.
Tairyn was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ann and John VanGrinsven and Clair and Elise Stearns.
Tairyn is survived by her mother, Ann Stearns of Greybull; her grandparents, Annette Clifton of Cody, Jerry Clifton of Greybull, Raymond and Lenny Stearns of Lander; her Uncle Chris and Stephanie Stearns of Thornton, Colo.; her Uncle Ron Fiene of Greybull, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the Big Horn Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 471, Greybull, WY 82426, to go to the Greybull High School Music Department.
