To the family of Wayland,
Our condolences to the Deputee family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We just wanted the family to know that Wayland was a good person and that he was a scholastic winner. He had all the qualities of being a successful person. We will always remember him as a gentle, kind and very, very smart gentleman. May God be with all of you.

My deepest sympathies are with you at this time, I worked with Wayland at Perkins. He was a sweet, gentle, level headed young man,Wayland always had a smile and a hello for his co-workers, helped when ever he was asked, never spoke out in anger and found humor in the little things, you must be very proud of him. We will miss him very much.
