William Bernard "Bill" Numbers

William Numbers Obituary

William "Bill" Bernard Numbers, born Aug. 31, 1934, passed away Sept. 4, 2005, of cancer.
He is survived, loved and missed by his wife, Charlene Hall Numbers; daughter Elizabeth Hall; sister Mary Dixie Crawford; sons Shaun Donovan, Eric Peterson, Lynn Hayward; and granddaughter Ravae Hayward.
William lived a full and hearty life in his short 71 years. His travels, adventurous spirit and ambition for knowledge made him skilled in many areas: once described as taking a nail and a piece of board and turning it into a house. Throughout his life, Bill attained extraordinary skills in building, designing, remodeling and creating small and large projects. He was an avid reader, cook, historian, fly fisherman, gardener and protector of his family and friends. He loved animals, was a proud member of the NRA and possessed a great love for Montana, where he returned to pass away. Bill also had a penchant for a good time, with a wild side apparent until his final months. He lived life to his fullest and kept his family and friends wondering with his escapades and ideas. He has left us wondering still.
No memorial service is planned. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, any remembrances be sent to Help for Homeless Pets.
