Angeline Martin Obituary

Angeline M. Martin, 78, Bismarck, died July 21, 2003, at her home. In respect to her wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. There will be private graveside services at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, at a later date.

Angeline was born Dec. 11, 1924, to Allich and Kathryn (Phillip) Zahn at their farm south of Beulah, N.D. After her mother's death, from the age of 3 she was reared by her grandmother, Rossella Zahn, and four loving aunts, most notably Mary and Genevieve Zahn, in Bismarck. She attended St. Mary's School through the ninth grade.

In 1948, Angeline married Elvin Geier. On Oct. 1, 1971, she married Clarence J. (Boyd) Martin who will love and miss her to the end of time.

Angeline leaves her husband, Clarence; her brother, Leo Zahn, Bismarck; her sister, Betty Evansich, Portland, Ore.; a very special sister-in-law, Dorothy Zahn, Beulah; some special second cousins whom she helped her cousin Rose Carroll rear, Bill Carroll, Pat Carroll and Lois Geertz, all of Billings, Mont., Phillis Walter, Columbus, Mont., and Sally Peralez, Hutchinson, Minn. They were some of her greatest loves; many wonderful brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins in the area and afar; three stepchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and many wonderful neighbors and friends. You will always be in our hearts, Sweetheart.

Preceding Angeline in death were her parents; one newborn brother; three brothers, Wendelin, Walter and Ray; and her much loved grandmother and loving aunts and uncles.
