Bruce Conyne Obituary
Bruce was born November 27, 1931, in Bismarck, North Dakota, the son of Burt and Gertrude (Dunn) Conyne. He spent his early years in Center, North Dakota, before his family moved to Bismarck. Bruce was active in school, attended Bismarck Junior College, and graduated from the University of North Dakota Law School in 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army beginning in 1953. Bruce married Eugenia (Jeanne) Anderson in 1958. They moved out of North Dakota in the 1960s, where he continued his career as an appellate lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service and served in the Maryland National Guard, retiring as a Colonel. He and Jeanne eventually retired to San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne (2024), and his brother, John (2006).
Bruce is survived by his sister, Sharon Exel, of Mound, MN; daughter, Michelle Anderson, and her husband, Nels, of San Diego, California; and son Robert Conyne, of Phoenix, AZ.
