Cathy was born Jan. 7, 1948, to John and Harriet (Kouba) Lampl in Regent. She was raised and educated in Nevis. Later, she moved back to North Dakota. When Cathy moved to Mandan, she met her "prince charming" Elias Kuntz, they were later married and spent 30 blessed years together. Cathy was very loving, kind and full of spunk to everyone that knew her. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Cathy had a very special bond with her (grand) son, Jerry, whom she enjoyed spending every moment with.
Cathy enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers, playing cards, and dancing with her family, and spending time with her beloved dog, Lacey. Her kindness, gentleness, generosity and sense of humor endeared Cathy to everyone who knew her. Cathy will be sadly missed by her family, friends and her ex-husband, Lyle Rhone.
Cathy will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sue (Mason) Conklin, Bismarck, Lila (Duane) Peterson, Bismarck, Shari (Lee) Whitmire, Bismarck, Sheila Rhone and fiance, Tory Edstedt, Minneapolis, and Lennette Kuntz and fiance, Eric Strand, Mandan; her stepson, Lenny (Tanya) Kuntz, Seattle, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and her brothers, Paul (Rachel) Lampl, Bob (Ellie) Lampl, David (Cindy) Lampl, Daryl (Joan) Lampl and Duane Lampl.
